Are you willing to go the extra mile?

“If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles.”  Matthew 5:41

Yesterday, Lori and I arrived in Boston.  We chose to split the 20 hour trip into 3 days and saw family along the way.  During the trip our SUV reached the 100,000 mile mark.  As it turned over, Jesus words came to my mind about going the extra mile.  

Jesus was speaking about sacrificial giving and being intentional.  As we get to know more of the church planters here in Boston, I have seen such great intentionality being lived out.  This has been such a great challenge for Lori and I.  We truly desire for our lives and our marriage to have an impact for the Gospel. 

So I pass this challenge onto you – how are living intentionally to impact those around you for the Gospel?  God has given each of us a realm of influence that He desires for us to impact.  Living on mission doesn’t just happen when we go off to serve on a mission trip, but can happen around us each and every day.
